Locate the Makita Model NumberThough the model number of your Makita tool may be made up of only digits (i.e. 2703) it usually includes both letters and digits (like, LXPH05 or 6916DWDE). The model number can be easily found on the tool's nameplate or ID badge. The nameplate is easy to spot, too, and should be near the motor's air vents.
